Jazmin Berahka is a artist who creates pieces using illustrations, installations, embroidery, graphics and costume design, I came across her work while I was looking for inspiration on pintrest. Her work imediatly caught my eye with her use of geometric shapes etc she was filling in areas of drawings with different patterns and shapes. I related it to my own practice I thought about all of the line drawings that I had started with and how I could fill those drawings in , in a similar way.

I then went on to combine bold triangles of colour into the background, I am still not entirely sure how I feel about these due to the fact I feel that they are too random there Is no meaning of them being there.
These drawings I want to take further but I want to take them into my engineering embroidery practice as I feel they fit in with that brief much better. All of the geometric shapes and patterns make me think of the work "engineering" I feel I can see the all working together much in the same way the engine of a car would.
