For my own practice I'm still looking into interior design I wanted to find designers that I can relate my own practice with. I came across Alessandera Branca when I was looking through some home interior design magazines. She combines graphic prints with old world craftsmanship. Her embroidery collection combines hand embroidery Indian and paisley patterns with traditional old Scottish tartan effects. I always find myself being drawn back to hand embroidery I always try out different techniques but its like the work of Branca that really excites me. I could s the work that I create sitting very nicely along side her own in a very high home furnishing store.
