Inspirational art work.

The museum of acurate fabric brain art.

I would have thought it would be a lot harder to find inspirational art work that I could link back to my own research. I soon  came across a website about a museum In America dedicated to accurate textile brain art. I thought this whole thing was a crazy idea of mine although my work may not be accurately correct I have taken a lot of visual inspiration from the works shown in this museum I'm just disappointed that its's in America and there's no chance of me seeing it in real life. What it has really shown me is different way in which texture can play a keen roll in communicating something. I feel for me the key here is the colours that I use, I really want it be the colour that shows through in my samples if nothing else. I want it to be about colour cause its one of the main ways we collect data from PET scans the colour shows the active parts of our brains.
