Beginning Knit and Sampling.

I really struggled to grasp the basics with knit It has only been in the last week that I have finally gotten to grips with it and now can do all the techniques I have been shown and grudgingly it has grown on me. My first sample I created Is very basic but I do feel it is effective I based it around a brain scan that shows a brain with a tumor. I used e wrapping and left the threads hanging lose so I could create 3D tufts of the tumors. I also added holes into the sample to show the disintegration of the brain.

The next sample I created  I based around a drawing I did of a scan of a person who suffers from depression. I really wanted the sample to be about the colours how coincidentally blue and green the colours that I would associate with depression are the colours that show through. I also used hooking up to create movement in the black outlining.
